ABOUT ME
My name is Casey Richardson I live in Northern Michigan just outside of beautiful Traverse City with my wife Celeste and daughters Vaeda and Marnie. We love to garden, hunt, fish. And enjoy the outdoors.
Since 2016 I have been a guide in the state of Michigan, focusing exclusively on brown trout and pan fish! I have a passion for night fishing. I love to get people out there for their first time and experience what the river has to offer at night. And I'm not talking about just hex fishing... I'm talking about searching the river with a big rat for the largest most predacious fish in the whole system. Mousing with a big rat can be a lot like streamer fishing in the fact that you may only have a few encounters in the whole night but the ones that you will have will be quality.

WHAT IF IT'S MY FIRST TIME FISHING?
Not a problem! I have the perfect section of river and the right equipment for beginners that allows them opportunity at quality fish while learning a skill throughout the day/evening.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
All clients are required to have a valid state of Michigan fishing license (This is your responsibility) they can be obtained on the state of Michigan DNR website. You will also need to bring a pair of polarized sunglasses for fishing during the day and safety or eye glasses for night fishing. Layered clothing and bug spray are also recommended. Waiders or muck Boots and rain gear are suggested unless weather permitting.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
South Boardman Michigan, located east of Traverse City 20 miles. I am located within an hour of most major trout streams in Northern Michigan.
Whether your in Traverse City, Charlevoix, Petoskey or Manistee I have a fishing option available.

MOUSING
​Full night of mousing usually starts anywhere from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and last until 3:00 a.m. All gear and mice are included.
This is a true experience of a life time! Come experience what Michigan has to offer. I guide numerous rivers in northern Michigan so no matter where you are located I have an option.

$400 plus gratuity for 1 angler
$600 plus gratuity for 2 anglers

FULL/HALF DAY STREAMER FISHING
Full day of streamer fishing including all gear, streamers,leader.
I also have spin fishing gear available.
This is a great way to see the river and enjoy the great fall and spring fishing Michigan has.

Full day trip starts in the morning and usually lasts into the evening (start times may vary depending on fishing). All gear , bugs, and leaders included.

Trip can be reserved for the morning or evening based on availability (no shore lunch)

I offer guided and walk out ice fishing on several different lakes in northern Michigan and surrounding Traverse city.
Trips include all bait, tackle, rods, and top of the line electronics (live scope or vexilar)

Fall Perch Fishing
I offer perch fishing trips on torch lake just 20 minutes outside Traverse City and a few other lakes in the fall and early winter (weather permitting). This is a great time of year to get out and enjoy the lakes without all the traffic.
